Natural gas is completely non-toxic. It is a natural compound containing primarily hydrogen and carbon. When it burns, its main by-products are water vapor and carbon dioxide.

Today, our natural gas customers use natural gas in their homes to operate stoves, furnaces, water heaters, as well as clothes dryers, fireplace accessories, pool and spa heaters, gas lights, and grills. Commercial customers use natural gas for boilers and air conditioning. As the city grows, we will be here to help make it safe by performing line locates for our underground gas lines.
