Mission Statement
The mission of the Lake City Parks and Recreation Department
is to promote and coordinate good wholesome recreation both culturally and physically for our citizens. The department provides athletic, cultural and family-oriented programs for all ages.
Hours of Operation
The fountain operates daily
from 11:30am to 1:30pm
and again
from 4:30pm to 6:30pm
During Finally Fridays it operates
from 1:00pm to 9pm
The fountain is winterized and taken out of service
on the last Friday in October and remains
out of service until the last Friday in April
to prevent damage.
Overview
The City of Lake City Parks and Recreation Department is your
community connection for athletic, cultural and family-oriented
programs for all ages. Activities range from yoga, football, T-ball,
arts and crafts to seasonal and recreation program for children
and adults. The department also partners with various non-
profit organizations to provide quality, organized recreation
programs.
