BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD OF THE CITY OF LAKE CITY, FLORIDA, SERVING ALSO AS THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY/HISTORICAL BOARD AND BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS OF THE CITY OF LAKE CITY, FLORIDA, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to Section 163.3161 through 163.3248, Florida Statutes, as amended, and the City of Lake City Land Development Regulations, as amended, objections, recommendations and comments concerning the agenda, as described below, will be heard by the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Lake City, Florida, serving also as the Local Planning Agency of the City of Lake City, Florida, (location- 205 N Marion Ave, 2nd Floor Council Chambers) at a public hearing, to be held in person and/or through the use of communications media technology, on Dec. 1, 2020 at 5:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard.

CPA 20-10, submitted by the City of Lake City, requesting a Comprehensive Plan Text Amendment for the allowance of a zoning category-Mixed Use-allowing for the development of an integrated mix of uses and to provide for the expansion of the City’s economic base while providing for affordable workforce housing opportunities in close proximity to places of employment, as now lying within the City of Lake City, Florida, City Limits

B. Election of Chairperson and vice-chairperson

Pursuant to 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the City hereby advises the public if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at its meetings or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
