2026 District 14 Candidate - Ricky Jernigan

-  Personal Status: Blessed as well as honored son of Emma Lee & Henry Lee Jernigan with six siblings. Father of two children and grandfather to three children.

-  Education: Columbia High School - Class of 1979, Lake City Community College, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Human Diversity Instructor, Firearm Instructor

-  Employment History: Served my country in the US Army as a Cavalry Scout, served my state with the Florida Department of Corrections for 38+ years as well as the Florida Highway Patrol (Auxiliary), and currently serving my city as your City Council for District 14.

-  Organizations/Clubs: Member of Soul’s Harbor Church of God & Christ, Member of American Legion Post #423, Member of Masonic Lodge #8, Youth Volunteer of Richardson Community Center, Referee of Mid-Florida Sports, Vice Chair of the Lake City Tourist Development Council
