MIN. STARTING SALARY:         $31,200.00

 

The City of Lake City is accepting applications for the position of Customer Service Representative.  Customer Service work involves extensive customer contact, processing and maintaining utility accounts, processing of various cash payments, billing, and working with outside agencies.

                                                             

The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and meticulously detail oriented, able to handle stress and meet deadlines, work at a fast pace, complete tasks without direct supervision, and accurately keep records. Excellent interpersonal/ communications skills, telephone etiquette, and professional appearance are required. 

 

Minimum qualifications:

Applicant must have a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) with two year’s general office experience in Customer Service and cash handling, computer experience including Microsoft Office required.  A skills assessment test may be given.  Applicants must have a valid Florida driver’s license and will be required to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
