NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED EMERGENCY CITY COUNCIL MEETING TO BE HELD BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE CITY, FLORIDA

ON THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2020 AT 10:00 AM IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS

LOCATED ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF CITY HALL AT 205 NORTH MARION AVENUE, LAKE CITY, FLORIDA.

THE PURPOSE OF THE MEETING IS TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

• City Council Ordinance No. 2020-2145, establishing minimum requirement for rules and procedures for meetings conducted through communications media technology.
• City Council Ordinance No. 2020-2146, discussion and possible action on Safer at Home orders relating to Executive Order Number 20-91 (Essential Services and Activities During COVID-19 Emergency).

To offer public comment please be prepared when the chair requests public comment.  The chair will allow for sufficient time for lines to clear and all calls to be heard.  
If you attend the meeting in person:  
1. You should not enter City Hall if you feel ill, have reason to believe you have been exposed to someone who is or might be ill, or have health concerns that make you more susceptible to succumb to the virus.
2. The chair will require that all persons maintain an appropriate distance of not less than 6 feet at all times from every other person inside the meeting room.
3. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the building.
4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth at all times. 
5. Cover any cough or sneeze with a tissue or bent elbow. Do not cough or sneeze into the air or into your hands. 
Once the City Council Chambers has met it acceptable capacity overflow will be provided for in the first floor atrium.  
Pursuant to 286.0105, Florida Statutes, the City hereby advises the public if a person decides to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at its meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
