National Night Out
National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes strong partnerships between law enforcement and the community. Held each year on the first Tuesday in October, the event brings families, community members, and local agencies together in a fun and welcoming environment.

The Lake City Police and Fire Departments hosts National Night Out at the Public Safety Building and invites first responders, community organizations, and local service providers to participate. Agencies and organizations set up booths, tables, educational displays, and interactive activities that help families learn about the many resources and services available in their community.

National Night Out encourages residents to build relationships with law enforcement and community partners while learning how everyone can work together to create a safer, stronger community.

Join us for an evening of fun, learning, and community connection. The event features touch-a-truck displays, K9 demonstrations, games, prizes, and entertainment. Admission, the raffle, and entertainment are free. Food vendors will be on site, and guests are encouraged to bring cash for purchases.
Participants must be present to win raffle prizes.

Raffle Instructions

• To join the raffle, get a program from the main entrance, one per person.
• Visit each organization’s booth and have your program initialed.
• Once all the initials are collected, proceed to the Raffle Tent to obtain your tickets. Each booklet is worth 3 raffle tickets.
• Write your name clearly on the raffle ticket.
• Place the ticket in the bucket corresponding to the prize you want to win.
• The “grand prize” will be drawn at 8 p.m.
• You must be present to win.
